Guy Fawkes is alive and well in Europe! About half an hour´s drive from here, in France, there´s a bloke called Jim who runs a British supermarket - marmite, Birds custard powder, Walkers crisps...the stuff of dreams. Last night the enterprising young fellow threw a bonfire party and firework display for the British ex-pat community on his forecourt and in the adjoining field. The local Girl Scouts (run by Freyja´s flute teacher)had even made a Guy for the fire. It was quite an experience for, I suspect, nowhere else in the world on a Saturday night can you buy Remembrance Day poppies, swap Tom Clancy paperbacks, eat soggy British burgers and sample French wines with a sparkler in your other hand all at the same time.

Ég hef ekki grænan grun um hvað þú varst að blogga þarna en tel þó víst að breskir vinir þínir kannist við það.
Héðan er allt gott að frétta og stefnir í fína myrkrahelgi næst (dagar myrkurs), ætlum nokkrar út að borða og kannski á ölduna í einhver myrkraverk á eftir.
Læt vita nánar þegar það er liðið, kveðja Sigga.
