The circus is in town! A good time was had by all, but Freyja did get a little bit indignant afterwards and asked my why I couldn´t be a trapeze artist instead of a music teacher. I told her I didn´t think her father would very much like me hanging upside down from the ceiling in gold lamé knickers every night - she pointed out that it sounded pretty much like what we get up to at the average teachers´party anyway... Meanwhile, said customs officer is currently in Geneva on a 2 week training course, wearing a normal suit for the first time in 20 years and languishing in 30°. At least he doesn´t have to play football in it - if that´s what you call what Italy were doing last night.
