Can you believe the stuff people throw out? This afternoon, I got myself a little restoration project to do, in the form of a folk harp which had been thrown on the council rubbish dump! Paid a fiver for it at the recycling centre. Although it´s very ´rustic´ (underneath the dirt it´s hand-painted with flowers and there are a few nails protruding through the cobwebs), there are no fractures and it still has all of its pegs intact, so with a bit of work it should make a fine addition to the folk music group Freyja and I are planning on starting when we get to Switzerland!
