Fiona, Jeff and the boys came to visit today - great to see you guys! - which was lovely, even though the weather was terrible. The highlight had to be getting stuck in a bottleneck trying to get out of the car park at Exe Bridges where we sat for 45 minutes! In the end, Thomas - who was wearing his policeman´s outfit - got out of the car, stood on an island and started directing the traffic! It didn´t really help us move much faster but at least it kept everyone entertained whilst they were waiting!
Meanwhile, Jói arrived back in Iceland from Geneva last night. As well as learning more about his new job, whilst there he also managed to open a Swiss bank account (sounds good, nothing in it though!) and find us an apartment, in a village just outside Geneva - see picture above.
